Can't see it, in regular light, just bright lights. Its causing no problems with the touch screen, but I'm thinking about using my TEP.

the eGrips are $14 and basically just make it a little more tacky. I'm not one for dropping things either but they add a nice aesthetic to the phone to feel more secure. Plus, placing it down on hard surfaces now gives it extra tackiness so as it won't slide around.
Screen protectors are finky. My boxwave is cut sooo tight to the screen it's crazy. Of course, that means a delicate install. But seriously, if you saw my screen and used your stylus I can gurantee you could not tell I have a protector on there.
You get what you pay for here. Cheap protectors are pretty garbage and the expenisve ones usually are well worth their money.
I agree though that in all practicality...probably not that important.
