this happened to me when i installed a GSM dialer. im guessing it wipes the EPST files from the /windows directory. i dont know what carrier you are with, but im on verizon and i fixed it by installing one of DCD's carrier cabs, which are
here. and yes, you can install it without flashing his ROM. it will most likely restore your EPST capabilities.
