OK I'm REAL noobish so this will probably piss you guys off.
I'm trying to load this new ROM, the one I have currently is the 2.09 or whatever right out of the box. It gets to 11% and then it stops and gets stuck on the rainbow bootload deal. Then I run the titan_exitbl.exe and the phone starts up fresh like it's been reset to factory default. Am I missing a step?
I have done some searching and I've found bits of info like my "radio" may not be up to date or that I need to try and do it from the SD card. Perhaps I'm searching wrong or just not finding the right info. Can any of you super gurus help a brother out?
EDIT: okay I just went to the thread that's linked in the post directly above this post about flashing from the SD card and I honestly just think I'm too stupid to do that. I'll screw it up for sure. Is that my only option here?
EDIT AGAIN: Okay somehow I missed the "Easy guide to upgrading" thread. I see I need to do some reading there.
