I just make them. I don't really do the ringtone thing too much anyway but it's easy enough to do. Any decent sound to tell me I have a call or message is fine. Too many people seem to use their ringtones to advertise their crap musical taste
The whole ringtone thing always struck me more as a way for companies to make money selling snippets of songs for a couple of dollars rather than anything you really need. I guess when phones weren't that customizable it was cool but now there is so much to tweak, the ringer isn't all that cool anymore.
