Re: Make the keyboard pop up on today screen?
Not sure if this is what you are after, but I also wanted a keyboard to pop up quickly. And I wanted it landscape mode to be as big as possible. So I got the SPB Full Screen Keyboard and mapped it to the Camera button on the side.
I can quickly toggle the big keyboard on/off with a press of the camera button. And that button still takes pictures when the camera app is running.
I also mapped the camera button press/hold to the "rotate screen" function. No more fumbling around to get the optimum screen.
