I was told today that Qwest will start selling Verizon on July 28. The migration for current customers is in October.

exact quote from chat:

"You will be contacted in October to migrate to their service, but I am not sure if you will be able to opt out of your plan at that time or not if you do not want Verizon."

I'm not interested in Verizon for a lot of reasons.
