I picked up my treo 800w earlier today and have enjoyed it from the moment I opened it up and starting playing with it. I was able to pretty much get this phone for free and some...this is what I did. I called and in and followed someones advice to about telling them that you might switch to at&t to get an iphone. They gave me an additional $50 credit on my plan after charging phone to my account. They also added and additional 10% discount off my bill for the next two years. When I was in the store the rep who was helping me was a nearby neighbor by where I live. He was able to apply the $100 credit directly to my account without having to send in the rebate...he also gave me the rebate to send in and he said they should still send me the $100, let's hope that works. Here is a breakdown

Price: $599
Discounts: $400 (includes $350 instant rebates and $50 credit to account)
Monthly Bill is $120: 10%discount for two years comes out to 288.
Rebate $100

I will end up making a profit by purchasing the phone
