Pick your poison

Had a 'good' screen, then a 'bad' one after warranty replacement. I was ticked until a buddy came over for a bbq and I could compare them both side by side. The bad one actually has much deeper contrast, but more imporantly it's MUCH easier to view in sunlight. That hyper-reflective backplane and polarizing filter actually do wonders outside compared to the good screen. So I decided to stick with it...I guess life has compromises.
