I agree with the above post. I am not yet convinced about Verizon. I dumped this ROM and frankly there are several images related to turning off the radio including a generic Palm one. I suspect that Palm puts these things on their CDMA version, so that production of the phone is the same for all carriers and things can easily be switched. Since there are only 2 CDMA carriers in the US version of the phone it would make good manufacturing sense to put the necessary images in the production ROM. Going further with this concept, there are GPRS images (e.g. the connection icon in the top bar) on this phone... so wat does that mean?
