I just emailed ecare about the issue and recieved a response within a couple hours.
They creidited $100 to my account, which still left a $50 difference. I just replied and told them in a nice way that I still want the remaining $50. We will see what their reply is.
I take back what I said earlier about the BS not being worth it.
If you purchased the Touch recently, make sure to get your money!!!
