Yeah, to the OP: the "original" Red Label 6700 is considered in some communties a badge of honor as a sign of an early adopter.

on top of that, the consensus is that the white keyboard lights are much easeir to read and use than the "new" blue LEDs.

Plus, you don't have to worry about the ring-through hack, etc.

If you're only beef is with the logo, I suggest getting your self a pack of generic eGrips from Radio Shack (black) and cover 'em up. You'll block your logo, make the device look cooler and it'll be grippy. Win-win.
