I took the phone to a local sprint store. They had a used screen from a returned phone that was in perfect shape.$35 installed and it took less than 10 minutes.The touch screen works better than the original one.(responds to the touches much quicker and less force). It was a dumb mistake but at least it didn't cost me a arm and a leg.
