I'm going to take a wild guess that Helmi did NOT start by simply using a kitchen a large team of people created, based off of a custom ROM created over the course of many months by another highly-talented user, with nothing but off-the-shelf OEMs included in that kitchen. I don't know his history for sure, but I think based on what he was known for creating, he did a hell of a lot more than that. In fact, I'm pretty sure his work predates the kitchens. Again, though, I can't be sure.

I've built quite a few ROMs of my own with the kitchen. It's absurdly easy when you get the hang of it. That's why I'm still failing to see the point of this one, when I can spend ten minutes making something that includes the half of this ROM that I DO want, along with a bunch of other stuff left off that I would also want.

Did you follow the bright red directions on the front page of this and no2chem's ROM telling you to remove the battery after the first boot, then hard-reset the phone, then boot it again? That's kind of important, and why it's in bright red.
