Re: Dialers for PPC 6800

The HTC dialer.zip is the wizard reTOUCHed dialer in disguise. It is definately GSM and will cause multiple major problems on your phone.

You should use one of these dialers as a base then apply your skin graphics and transparency levels.

Skins are all graphics and reg keys, they should have no problems.... but the dialer is a .dll and controls the radio interface, inlcuding PRL updates, ## codes, signal levels, the ability to use 911 and e911, memory locations, button size and layout, etc. You should always use the .dll compatible with your phone or at least on the same radio band.

Get the latest dialer versions here on the first link, then apply skins all you want, but don't put the HTC Dialer.zip on your CDMA phone.

The Big Button dialer should be compatible with almost all of the skins here. Maybe a few tweaks for transparency or colors.
