I imagine the videos you are running in the Core
Player are .AVI and even with the addition of
Drivers you added it still not as smooth as
you like it to be.

I been running it on my touch for almost a week now
And it has flawlesly played .AVI movies
with no problems. I am talking about 700 to 900mb movies.
with great playback despite the drivers.
