Why can GPS find me?
I have an Alltel phone with the lastest manufacturers ROM
rom 3.04.671.2
rom date 4/9/08
radio 3.37.10
I have a modified PRL to pick up Sprint's EVDO network for DATA since my carrier only has 1X. I still use my carrier for voice just not the data. (no sure if this makes a difference)
gps program port com4
gps hardware port
none
baud rate 4800
locastion setting set to ON.
when I go to goggle maps and set to GPS. It says initializing GPS and then it comes back wih an error message of NO GPS RECEIVER WAS FOUND.
What am I doing wrong?
