I am running XP sp2 on my desktop and laptop, had the same trouble on both.

Have tried the following kitchens:

helmi_Apache_kitchen_3.5_PPCGeeks.rar
helmi_Apache_kitchen_3.5_ImCoKeMaN_R3

maybe one other.
