Perhaps.. However, if you have the device turned off, I believe the Wifi is in standby mode, and is not searching for signals. It might draw some power, but I don't think it is half of the power that is drained, when it is actually in use. If you are conducting the same test, for both batteries, then it should be a lot better than that. Maybe you can contact the support, and see if you can get a replacement. It might be bad, or an older battery. Just some more food for thought.
