I've never heard of the band and I don't watch pro sports, but making themes is always good. You might want to do something about the font color in the band one because the purple font over the dudes' faces makes it hard to read. I've noticed the best themes are the ones that are simple and clean. Maybe when you make the picture for the wallpaper, put it over a black background in photoshop and then lower the opacity so it kind of looks translucent in front of the black background. The end result is a sort of "dim" version of the picture that is still cool to look at but doesn't make it as hard to read the text on top of it.

It's hard to make a background out of a "busy" picture without making the whole thing look cluttered and hard to read. If you send me the original image I can show you what I mean.
