yes you can use pim.vol with 3.x+, but if you are still interested in trying out an exchange server for future changes or if you happen to lose your pim.vol completely and is free, try
www.mail2web.com. You can just use it for contacts and calendar, if you dont like the idea of your email address being
user@mail2web.com. It does offer true push email which is great. I actually use the upgraded version which is $1.99/month that way my reply to email address is
user@verizon.net. pm if you need more info.
