I can spend days customizing my rom so I don't have to customize later after a hard reset which can take hours out of your day.
I have only what I want installed.
If a new version comes out, no prob, create an oem and reflash with other customizations still there.

I don't back up, well, the only thing I back up are text messages and contacts. everything else is "cooked"!
