I don't have the time/patience to deal with this phone anymore.
I was out yesterday and the phone locked up and wouldn't dial out no matter what I did... soft reset, nothing. Couldn't save the number I was trying to dial to contacts list or anything.
Hard reset the phone when I got home, and everything was happy again. So it was probably SPB phone or something else wierd I'd installed that got cross-wise in the system. But the phone's been acting wierd off and on for me for months now... delayed messages, not ringing sometimes... could be software I've installed, could be the way I built the ROM with the kitchen (currently a Helmi WM6 ROM)... no telling and while I am a fairly good computer geek and could figure it out, I don't have the time/patience/whatever to deal with this on my main phone that I have to depend on.
So last night I went and got an LG rumor, and have gone back to lo-tech paper planner until I can afford a UMPC.
I just need my phone to be a phone, and maybe have Google maps on it.
But, I have a PPC-6700 that there's probably nothing wrong with except that it's been used for a few years (a few minor surface scratches), I've got a nice boxwave aluminum case, an extended battery (and the original that came with it) the cradle and cables, car charger and two headphones for it (the original and a retractable one from boxwave)... I hate to just recycle all of it. I wish there were a way I could transfer the licenses for all the stupid software I've bought over the years too.
I'd post on the sales board here, but I don't have 50 posts. (My apologies if I'm breaching protocol.) I don't want to post on Ebay if it's not really worth the cost of admission there, so I'm not trolling for buyers, just trying to find out if it's worth trying to sell it. I don't know how the "lock/unlock" thing works, it's been taken off my account at Sprint, so I would *hope* it's open for someone else's use, can anyone verify that for me?
