I can confirm the info in Post #26 of this thread is still accurate.
When it was released in April, the $29.99 Email and Web for PDA plan (unlimited data, with a CAP mentioned in the fine print just like VZW's other "Unlimited" data plans) only supported 3 phones... The Moto Q9M, VX6800 and SMT5800. Since then, support for the Moto Q has been added, taking it to 4 phones.
No other phones have been added, and Verizon will not comment on dates when other phones might be able to make use of this cheaper plan.
As for will pix messages take data. When using a PDA/SMartPhone, it costs just like your current VZW cell phone plan.
On the Nationwide calling plans (established Nov 2007), data is billed per MB, but there is debate on if MMS message data is billable. It appears that it should NOT cost you data.
BUT, the PDA/Smartphone data plans cover your data usage, so...
