With the new billing system and being a little wiser now since pda phones made tethering possible, they can tell the difference between:

1. Casual browsing on the phone/e-mail
2. Tethering browsing/80mb+ Rom downloading 6-7 times a month.

I believe with the new billing system, they are tracking kilobytes sent/received. Rounding up of course with each transfer... I tether and they have added it to my emp account for $0.00. So they know I am tethering
