I did buy VC 1.6 last night and couldn't figure out how to just copy the exe to /window directory. Now I've got the full app installed chewing up memory. Yes, I did search, but need a walk through I guess. Anyone want to enlighten me? Thanks.
Since you've installed it, now you have a working/registered version of the "voicecmd.exe" file.
Find "voicecmd.exe" in the \windows folder on your 6700, and copy it to another place. I copied it to my storage card so I can have it whenever I do another hard-reset.
Then Uninstall VC 1.6.
I'm pretty sure, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but the program will still be installed on your device because it's in the ROM.
Now, copy the "voicecmd.exe" file back to the \windows folder and it should work fine.
