For me. I would place the three Mail, SMS, vMail in a parallel , just below the clock. Then for the space. I would use a .png or .ico of a graphic (zodiac sign, NFL, NBA, automobiles, etc.) then underneath that. I would have a writing like " Welcome: <name>" or "HELLO: <name>"
