Re: How do I change files in ROM?

Unfortunately, that link didn't contain what I needed.

I am trying to get the Bell music store to work. I found a thread here that advised the following:
--------------------------------------
Goto windows\appdb folder. You'll find some java files here named s0_suite and so on. These are the sprint store data files. [...] Anyways I just deleted them but you may want to move so you can restore later as they are the java midlets for any java programs you might have installed.
--------------------------------------

I can neither move nor delete those files because they are in ROM. Everytime I try it tells me access denied, files are in ROM. I am not sure what to do, because every other thread mentions editing XML files and removing files and I have yet to see anyone else run into this problem. Even my weather app hack, I had to edit the registry because the XML containing the weather names was in ROM and gave me access denied.

I can do virtually nothing to customize my phone (outside just downloading and installing programs) because 90% of the files I need to play with are locked in ROM and can't be changed. I can't even change the attributes on them (read only or system). I tried both Total Commander and Resco, neither worked, same error in both.
