Again not trying to be a pest but I still do not have answers to the followig 2 questions. Perhaps if I number them that will help:
1. How exactly do I restore the Resco plugins by going to \\Windows?
2. Can I obtain install the games myself in RAM? If so, how?

Oh that's very easy to fix. Just go to your Windows dir and then Startup. then go to Programs in the Startup directory and delete the one with the [1] by it.
