Ok this took me some time to find in the registry but it is working for me. Just remember to reset for changes to take effect.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 2]
"Default" = "Flashlight" (or whatever you wish to name it)
"Open" = "VJCandelaLite.exe"
I'll cast the third vote to get this on the next ROM update, but it's real easy to change for those of us that want it or don't want it. Originally I had this key launching media player. This can be opened via VC just like media player, but it gives a bit more to the conversational appeal of the phone to have flashlight displayed on front. And who here can say this phone isn't quite the conversation piece...
