For those who have upgraded and are having issues, here's my take......

When you ran the upgrade to the radio, did you stop at the point where you tap the screen to sync the touchscreen? If you synced the screen, did you (soft) reboot the phone before the customizations ran? When you installed the customized rom, did you do the same thing (sync the screen, then soft reboot before the customizations ran)?

I think this is a point that a lot of people (including myself) missed the first time around.....

I ended up downgrading the radio & rom, then doing the whole process again & it all works fine for me...... (note, please heed the warnings.... downgrading the radio may not work...)

My issues were:

1) internet would not connect, but I could make phonecalls & gps was working fine.
2) phone was in permanent roaming

Hope this helps some in their time of need.


Thanks again to OMJ, IMCokeMan, & the PPC Geeks forum.... took a little while longer than normal to get everything settled down, but the phone is working great now.....
