As far as Google Maps goes go into OPTIONS>GPS SETTINGS> select MANUEL and set to COM 4 and 4800.. GOOD LUCK
Here's exactly what I did:
  • I ran the Coke's unlocker v2.31
  • Ran the leaked ROM and skipped the customization because I have Alltel
  • After boot, I looked for Windows/PPST.exe but couldn't find it. I went to menu, show all files, and still, couldn't find it. The only thing I found that was close was PPST_080401_7500_Alltel_2.01.sa.CAB so I ran it because there was nothing else close.
  • After that I flashed it with OMJ's Alltel OEM ROM.
Since then, I have done what you said. I navigated back to my Windows folder to try to find it, and this time I found a file called PPST, but there was no .exe. I clicked on it anyway, as you said to do, and nothing seemed to happen. I hit it again, and still nothing seemed to happen, so I exited and noticed that my phone suddenly had NO service, at all, when it just had full service. I soft reset my phone. When it booted back up, I tried Google Maps again, and now it won't even give me the blue dot. When I tried setting it manually to COM4 and 4800, then clicking Use GPS, it said that it couldn't find any GPS Device. So now, Google Maps works less than it did before.
