Re: Verizon Step-by-step to GPS

Not sure what you mean by MSL, in my case, I followed the steps you have outlined but after flashing the sprint rom the phone was on roaming and would not make calls which was a know side effect. I just waited until I was done flashing everything and had a new verizon kitchen based rom on and then called and told verizon that I had done a hard reset and that I was getting an authentication error. They reset my Akey no questions asked and flashing new roms based on the kitchen I have not had to call back for a new a key. I tested the GPS on verizon all day yesterday and even did a soft reset to see if the intial lock would take longer and it seems to take 1-2 min outside no matter (which is great in my book) and tracked while driving around town just fine. Works fine for me. I was concered that it was not working at first because the lock took so long (15min) but looking at GPS veiwer I could see action and with my other GPS units I know that first lock can take longer. than locks after that. Hope it works for you.
