Is there a way for WM6 to have the Sounds and Notification applet grab sounds from the SD card? I have quite a collection I would like to e able to select from.
EDIT: I think you can dump them in the root of the SD card, but I want to put them in a folder, as I'm a cleanpfreak when it comes to file/folder organization (comes from years as a Network Admin).

I've seen ways to manually assign sounds through the registry, but that's a pain in the azz since I like to change sounds often.

Any hellp?
You can check out my tutorial on sound themes in my sig. It will give you the registry locations of most of the sounds. Then just match up the sound with the file location on your SDcard. Windows will only search a couple default directory's for them. You should be able to point your sounds to anywhere I would think in the registry if your running wm6.x. Usually I default them all to \windows. Ya wanna try it and report back?

Edit I cook my own roms now, but before I used to keep 2 zip files on the sdcard. One with my \windows notifications, and one with my \my documents ringers and tsk files. After a fresh load I would unzip each to their respective directory....
