No - I've had to do nothing special for the Touch. I am, btw, running WP inside SPB Mobile Shell...

After installing the
fix, the instructions indicate how to schedule the fix:
- Download the appropriate "hourly data fix" CAB
- Install over your current installation - be sure to keep settings when asked
- Configure the hourly data fix: Start -> Programs -> WP Configure Hourly Fix
- That's it!
