Never heard of this problem either... sounds like maybe the newer version doesnt play nice with the iphone but im not sure... check my suggestion to lsvtech about an alternative contact app

yes all the extras were apps that needed to be installed seperately i included links to most of them, as well as work arounds if you didnt want those apps. please read the first post again it is all right there...
you need to install the live search app... not the same as the one that comes on the phone.
the palm threader app is kinda pointless now... you can forget that and link to to the tmail.exe check post one for exact location... or you can google the shortcut i cant remember off the top of my head to take you there its something like 22# "\windows\tmail.exe" "SMS" something along those lines but thats not it exactly...
as far as pages you can have multiple pages on your iphone theme and use a "more" button to get you to page 2 etc
