My problems is only visiable when the battery is "totally" discharged (screen dark). I also have 1 amp third party chargers that did not work with a totally discharged battery. I own more than six third party chargers, three are 1 amp, one is 1.25 amp, most of the others are .4 to .6 amps. When I had a totally discharged battery I only tried the 1 or 1.25 amp charger. I also believe the normal mini UBS connector is a 5 pin unit. What is the difference between a 4 pin, 5 pin and 11 pin miniUBS connector? I beleive the Mogul has an 11 pin female connect that works also with the 5 pin charger connector. I have only seen this problem two or three times. I only get the battery totally dischanged once every other month. This is not an easy condition to view. Obviously the answer is use the OEM HTC charger when the battery is totally discharged.
