I have this same problem. The VZ tech had me take the battery out, put me on hold for a while, came back and had me do a *228. I still had the same problem. I have the same ROM/Radio version that Image911 has on his device.

I reflashed my ROM the other night and it seemed to work for the majority of the day. but then in the late afternoon it started doing it again. Could it possibly be this ROM/Radio combination? I have tried every other suggestion...
