EDIT: Just to add, it's not the PRI that is helping Sprint users using the leaked rom get better locks with their GPS. It's the IP address that the ppst.exe re-run adds that does this.. My suggestion would be for non-Sprint users wanting to test this idea out, check with Mogul/Titan/6800 users and have them read off the IP address set in their units and input this on your Touch.
How would this IP address help in gpsmode=2?
