The Alltel ROM includes a "feature" where when you click on anything in the status bar at the top like the signal strength meter or the battery life indicator, this large, honkin', blue callout bubble appears and it's annoying as f**k!
Sometimes all I want to do is respond to an alert for a new message or voicemail, and that damned callout bubble pops up instead!
Anyone who can help with this gets mad props.
*EDIT: Nevermind--I forgot the program is called HTC Large Title Bar and this is how to disable it:

I found it was disabling my power icon from opening the power control panel applet and was a pain in the proverbial. There was no info on the web to tell me how to disable so I had to figure it out.
