you're only making the problem WORSE by trying to turn it on, common sense is, if there is water in it and you try to turn it on what happens when electricity and water mix? you guessed it, a short circuit...

LET IT DRY OUT FOR A FEW DAYS BEFORE YOU TRY TO TURN IT ON!

you probably toasted whatever chance it had of it ever working again..
