Cricket was nice before they started nickel and diming you for everything from warrantying your cell phone to reprogramming fees to you name it, and no (or expensive) roaming!!! Plus there's something weird about having to wait in line for 2 hours to get something fixed with a bunch of tweakers paying weekly for their cell phone while a security guard makes sure things don't get out of hand. You know it's true
Not to mention weird things like a lot of sms short codes don't work, and you can't send/receive texts to emails etc.... |
I haven't run into much of that. I don't go out of state much, but when I do I go to California and I can roam on their cricket network for free. Ive only had to re-program with *228 and I don't wait in line to pay the bill I just do it online, and I bought my mogul for $200 no contract brand new so I flashed it over to CricKet and the rest is history.
I send text to email all the time, as well as true MMS. Although things may have changed and CricKet knows it needs to step up its game if they want to come out with commercials that bash the big 4 carriers about costing half as much for everything. I only use my line for text calls and checking my email once in a while. And it does all of that without any trouble.
