... on a side note, after unlocking with imcokeman's 2.31 unlocker there i setup windows and skipped installing custom stuff then as well and did a soft reset after calibration. I didn't know if that would mess things or not... i just remember everyone saying don't install sprint/alletel stuff on verizon phone. so i hope i didn't miss anything i needed. i assume flashing to the sprint rom wiped out anything i wouldve installed anyway and now going to verizon will wipe things out again anyway.

all worked ... ha but of course now i did some research and my akey is missing ... can't make calls i hope i dont have to be on another phone to put the akey back in ... else im screwed til monday.

...and 30 min later, called tech support (2nd tier) to get it to work again. course they didnt care to hear any of the akey info...and after i told them i did 228 both options..they did something there cuz they called me and it worked and i placed a call and it worked. .. they then called me back to ensure i could place calls lol. so nice of them. anyway. a pain i wont be going through again. im quite happy with your rom OMJ. Thanks!

cool, glad everything went smooth......from what I've been reading, it sounds like most VZW users have to call support after flashing the 1st time, but only after the 1st flash, subsequent flashes did not need support.

I re-installed the leaked ROM only and tried it and the camera worked (But my HCSD card was not inserted since it interferes with the customization install).

I then re-installed the OMJ custom ROM and it worked (But then I noticed my HCSD card was still not inserted).

I then inserted my HCSD card and it failed. Seems that it doesn't like to save to this kind of card, any idea why and is there a fix?

I also noted one thing, I forgot to run the PPST after the leaked rom was installed and after customization ran but GPS is still working stable and reliable.

I think I did tell you guys that I tried the card and camera storage, I thought I did but obviously I didn't because it does work on the camera storage.

cool....not sure if there's a fix out there, but what I would do is change the camera settings to save to the phone, then every once in awhile, move them to your sd card.

also, PPST shouldnt need to be run more than once, I could be wrong but I thought it was a one time run to upgrade the PRI.

sorry, but I dont know of a fix....I can duplicate this, but maybe it's intended ?? or maybe a conflict in 6.1, or just a bug.

thanks. any way to modify things, any software, etc. that would be helpful? i don't want to modify a rom and flash again. getting my phone authenticated from verizon is something i don't feel like doing again. =)

I would recommend using the OEM version, then adding the apps you want. the apps that are cooked in the rom, can't be removed, but you can delete the shortcuts in the programs folder.

I dont know what you mean by 0 & 1, what are these shortcuts?

I dont think you would need call VZW again, from what I've read.
