Weird hard reset experience with stock xv6900

I have 2 sprint 6900s converted to vzw and have had no loss of nam programming on a hard reset ever. I did a hard reset on a customer's stock xv6900 on a mms troubleshooting and the hard reset wiped the nam programming to 0000006417 (fresh out of the box) reset the prl to the ship prl, reset the lifetime talk was 7 hours prior to hard reset, and of course displayed intial programming required and needed a new akey of course This guy could barely set his email up so I'm sure he didn't do a gps flash then reload the vzw stock rom and only had the phone a few days. I have had this happen on titans but only after running the relocker and loading the stock rom/radio back on the phone (and only if it had a 3x radio on it prior to relock) and after the radio refurbish cab ran. Anyone else had this happen with a stock xv6900?
