You need to know that this is a great community of people who will help you.
You also need to know that you have a great phone that has nearly limitless possibilities.
As Negrito said, start out just reading. And search! If you're looking for something in particular, the search box can be your best friend. Read the FAQs and stickies as well.
If you're looking for ROMs, check the "Upgrades" sub-forum.
