On a serious note:
As I understand it the screen simply detects a single touch. It's either touched or not. Now, if you wanted to measure if something was heavy enough to "touch" then you could but it wouldn't be terribly useful. It might even be more sensitive on other parts of the screen.
I do appreciate the thinking out of the box though. (That's why other less polite guys were laughing.)
