I am still having problems connecting to the data connection. Strangly, the first time i tried android, it worked great. It has not worked since.
Im using vzw. I have edited the default.txt to show: mytelephone@vzw3g.com, password=vzw.

I have heard if u connect to the internet before starting Android which seems to just work.
