the cab not only puts the actual ppst.exe in the windows directory, but also other required files for the exe. the exe is not completely standalone and will not run properly (as you experienced) without the use of the cab and the proper files. (thx for the cab boggsie!!)

i cant say that i really even know what trueflo ui is...?? do tell. but as for the other things, im sure you can just google them and install via cab. then if you wanted to go the extra mile, either google their respective oems, or make them into oem's yourself (or ask me to).

try installing astro-gps on your touch as well as gps kick start (just google both) and see if that helps.

and thx i appreciate that. though im not sure how much credit i deserve there as all the info contained therein i have gleaned from others (posts)....tho i guess most everything here is that same case - just ppl learning from one another. not to mention that it is so short, simple, and not all that explanatory.
