Re: Good vs Bad screens (pictures + videos of both)

ugh, I don't have insurance, so I'm out of luck, eh?
don't you ahve to pay a $50 deductible with insurance anyway?
no luck for warranty coverage though manufacturer?

On another note, I got another htc touch for a family member. It was also bad. The two bad phones placed next to eachother look almost identical in crappiness. So I believe there really is mainly two different screens (probably depends who manufactured what batch), not many different variations. This would explain why that one sprint empolyee poster got 20 bad phones at his store, all the same manufacturing batch.

I compared a good phone vs bad phone in the sunlight. They are both pretty much equally bad. The good phone was a tiny bit better, but nothing that makes a real difference, so I don't count it as a real advantage.
