It's ignorant to say "it's the liquid." There is NO LIQUID in an LCD display. If there is a screen protector on the screen, take it off and see if there is still a problem. If the problem is still there, it coule be the touch sensor or it could be the lcd screen itself. I've seen similar results from leaving a screen in extreme heat, like in a car left in the sun.
