Also, for those having problems downloading version 2.1 of this rom from the ftp, here it is on zSHARE:

almost oem sprint 6.1 rom v.2.1 with working gps and rev a.zip - 70.51MB

got gps to lock for the first time using ppst. I had tried installing leaked rom and the back to this but had no luck. This ppst did the trick.
